Northwest Booster Club has no
connection whatsoever to the administration of funds from pay-to-play, admission fees,
team fundraising, or USD 259. The long standing problem, however, is that these areas of
support do not cover all of the expenses of NW student activities. Booster Club works to
pay for activity/athletic expenses not met by school sources. According to our by-laws, NW
Booster Club mobilizes community and parent support to "directly assist the school in
implementation of athletic programs in ways which the school itself or the BOE is unable
to provide adequate financial assistance." |

| We have volunteers working at almost
every NW athletic event: Selling concessions, Bear Wear, Programs, stadium seats, and
Booster Club membership, cranking the sound system, grilling hamburgers and hot-dogs,
hosting Fall/Winter/Spring Sports Kick-Offs, and generally promoting NW School
Spirit.
Anyone interested in what Booster Club is doing is welcomed to come to the next meeting in
A-26 @ NWHS 7:00 PM. |
