If working on the yearbook staff
seems too much/too little of a challenge for you, you are welcome to join the
Journalism staff. Journalism classes are students who produce the school's
newspaper, the Northwest Explorer, giving an inside scoop on what's going on
around school. From sports updates, to academic advice, the Explorer is filled
with quotes from your classmates, and to keep you posted on events you missed,
such as Homecoming, there is also a neat story describing the people, places,
events, etc. that's happening around school.
If you enroll in Journalism, you are eligible to become an editor, a features writer, or a sports writer.
