Northwest High School Chapter

Welcome to the Northwest High School chapter of the National Art Honor Society. The NAHS is a nationally recognized club designed to recognize the achievements of those in the art community, promote an awareness of the arts, and encourage a growth in the incorporation of art, both in the school curriculum, and our community as a whole.

The National Art Honor Society is a club for sophomores, juniors, and seniors in good standing in their art classes. To be inducted into the NAHS, there are a few requirements:

  • At least a 3.0 cumulative GPA in all art classes.

  • At least a 2.0 cumulative GPA in all other classes

  • The approval of the club sponsor (Mrs. Dirks)

All club members must maintain the required GPA, while also contributing club dues and meeting the required community service hours to stay in NAHS.

The induction deadline for this year is passed. However, we appreciate your support, and invite all current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in the art program to consider joining NAHS next year.
