The Northwest Drama Club meets once a month (usually on the second Tuesday of
every month) to discuss Drama-related matters. Often, each month there is
a "social event", which members that attended the previous meeting can
attend. Also included are fundraising activities, such as 50's
Night and the yearly sales of delicious items such as pies and baked
goods. Below are just a few of the many activities Drama Club has been
involved in this year.

Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat
|
|
 |
The
night following Halloween, November 1, 2003, Northwest Drama Club members combed
through nearby neighborhoods, looking for donations of canned and nonperishable
food. Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat, as it is called, ended up a success,
as 1,330 pounds of food were collected for those less fortunate. |

50's Night
|
|
 |
The Northwest Drama Club coordinated and ran a
"50's Night" for the second year in a row on October 3rd, 2003.
Drama Club members served as waiters and waitresses for the old-fashioned
drive-in style cookout. Vintage cars could also be seen at the event, with
many owners bringing their vehicles (1970 and older) in exchange for a free meal
of hamburgers, chips, and ice cream.

Trash Clean-up
|
|
 |
The
members of the Drama Club, in order for the club to attain their community
service goals, pick up trash outside of the school during each meeting. In
doing so, they help to keep the school grounds clean, and have fun while doing
it, as can be witnessed in the two pictures. |
