The Northwest Thespian troupe (Troupe #2661) is a club for the elite theatre students at Northwest High School. Students can be eligible to join the Thespians by logging at least 100 hours of work on various activities and shows. Northwest's Thespian troupe has been recognized for their work in 2003 with the "Silver Honor Troupe" designation, awarded at the annual state Thespian conference in January 2004. A full list of current Thespians at Northwest can be seen below, along with each Thespian's year in school. Also below is an overview of some of the activities the Thespians have been involved with during the course of the past year. Victory in the Valley Walk |

In early September, Northwest Thespians participated in the Victory in the Valley Walk, an event designed to raise money for cancer patients' families. Overall, nine students took part in the event, along with four adults. After a vigorous two kilometer walk, everyone was served a meal, and then helped the "West side" team put a sound beating on the "East side" team, in events such as the egg relay. All said, it was a pleasant experience for all involved, for a great cause. |
