The Kansas Association of Business Professionals of America Fall Delegate Assembly will be held at the Rock Springs 4-H Camp Ground outside at Junction City, Kansas. It is an overnight trip. This is your student’s first opportunity to experience the student organization Business Professionals of America. The student will be dismissed from their regular Wednesday and Thursday classes. It will not count against the student’s attendance, as this is a school related absence associated with the Business Technology class.

We will board a charter bus with other students from the Wichita area high schools. On Wednesday the students will experience teambuilding activities as well as the activities listed below. On Thursday, we will attend the first scheduled session of 2006-2007 Kansas Business Professionals of America. Session includes the election of state officers, professional development workshops and leadership activities.

Registration for this activity is $85 including transportation. Registration includes three meals: supper Wednesday, breakfast and lunch on Thursday.

This is a great activity for your student. Because of the expense involved, I need a firm commitment with a $35 deposit returned to me by Monday, September 18.

The students are currently selling entertainment books which can help offset the additional expense of the trip. The balance for the trip will be due on Monday October 9. If you would like to visit the homepage of the Rock Springs 4-H Camp, I have included the web address at the top of the page.
