Students and staff this week seatbelt enforcement starts throughout the state at ALL high schools; so click it or ticket!
Student Senate members don’t forget you have a meeting Tuesday morning 7:15 in D27. Don’t be late! 
Chick-fil-A will be here on Wednesday, February 25th after school in front of Pupil Services to serve free iced coffee drinks to students and staff. This is their way of saying “Thank You!” for visiting their west 21st Street location.
Attention Seniors the senior/ staff basketball game will be March 12.   If you think you have the right skills and moves, sign up with Mrs. Robeson.  The first ten boys and first ten girls will be a part of Northwest history.  Also, we are looking for 10 cheerleaders to help lead the seniors to a victory over the staff.  Sign up ends Friday, February 27.  
Attention Class of 2016 and 2017. If you have an application to be a Teaching Assistant, Office Assistant or Student Coaching for next year, please be sure to turn those in to Ms. Terriere or Mr. Cathey ASAP. If the application is not turned in, your counselor will choose a different elective for you.
Attention Girls’ Soccer Players! We will have a brief meeting on Wednesday in the auditorium at 7:40 am.  You will receive a schedule for try-outs next week.  Please be on time!  
Congratulations to the boys bowling team for winning the city title and continuing their undefeated season.  They were led by Lane Stanberry who took first place with a 753 series.  We had three other medalists on the guys side:  Cody Hubbard, Zach Hall, and Tanner Schmidt.  We also had one girl medal: Abbey Jacobs took 2nd place with a 616 series.  The bowlers have regionals this week.  Please wish them good luck as they try to return to the state championship next week.
The April ACT will be on April 18th and the deadline for registration is Friday, March 13th.  Plan ahead and get registered ASAP. If you need assistance with registering, sign up with Ms. Cramer in the CCC.
The Bear Buddies want to thank everyone for helping make their home game a success against North, we appreciate everyone’s time and efforts.
Congratulations to the wrestling team on another outstanding performance this weekend. Eight wrestlers qualified for State! Devin Onwugbufor, Justin Onwugbufor, Dylan Brazell, Kevin Folsom, Saul Ortiz, Matt Washee, Noah Ornelas and Jared Ross will all be representing Northwest at Hartman Arena this Friday and Saturday. Let’s bring home a trophy Grizzly Grapplers!
