If you want to join a club that focuses on respecting and supporting the gay, lesbian, and transgender community, you should join Gay Straight Alliance.  The first Gay Straight Alliance meeting will be held today at 3:20 in B37, Ms. McDonald’s classroom.  If you have questions, please stop by and talk to Ms. McDonald. 
 
Do you like Japanese art, culture and animation? If so please join the NW Anime Club. The first meeting will be tomorrow in B-20 Mr. Hatfield’s room from 3:10-4:00.
 
Northwest soccer will play at Southeast today.   Varsity kicks off at 4:30 followed by the JV team at 6:00. Your attendance is greatly appreciated! 
 
Come join the Grizzly Weight room in raising money for the new weight room.  Jose Peppers is having a Grizzly Night at Jose Peppers this Wednesday.  Come in anytime and present a voucher that you can get from the office and a portion of your bill will go towards equipping the new weight room.  Look forward to seeing you there.
 
Attention National Honor Society members, our 1st meeting of the school year will be this Friday morning at 7:20 in the auditorium. 
 
Senior girls that are interested in playing powderpuff football need to attend a meeting in D46A at 7:40 am Friday morning. 
 
The tennis match this Thursday, September 3 is a COTY event! Look for the student senate table and get points for your class. They will be counting from 3:45-5:00.  Sophomores are currently in the lead.
 
Attention all students:
Thank you for following the Electronic Device Policy.  All electronic devices, including cell phones, ear buds and PED’s are prohibited during the school day, including passing periods.  All electronic devices must be powered off and out of sight, including ear buds.  You may use them during your lunch only in the commons.   If your teacher allows you to use electronic devices in the classroom, then you must make sure to keep your cell phone or electronic device powered off and out of sight before leaving the classroom.  Students must give their electronic device to a staff member when requested.  You may pick up your electronic device from the Security Officer after school from 3:20 to 3:30.  Students must have their ID to pick up the item.
