Today for lunch we will have Quesadillas or Burritos. Please have your selection and ID ready.  Students without an ID need to wait until the last 10 minutes.
Chick-fil-A will be here after school in front of Pupil Services to serve free iced coffee drinks to students and staff as a “Thank You!” for visiting their west 21st Street location.
Attention Seniors the senior/ staff basketball game will be March 12th.   The first ten boys and first ten girls to sign up with Mrs. Robeson will be a part of Northwest history.  We also need 10 cheerleaders too.  Sign up ends Friday, February 27. 
Attention Class of 2016 and 2017. If you have an application to be a Teaching Assistant, Office Assistant or Student Coaching for next year, please be sure to turn those in to Ms. Terriere or Mr. Cathey ASAP. If the application is not turned in, your counselor will choose a different elective for you.
Show your school spirit tomorrow by wearing your blue and gold. We will be counting for COTY points in the morning before school in front of pupil services. Be sure to stop by the table and show off your blue and gold.
Spring sports – baseball, softball, track, girls swimming, boys tennis, girls soccer, boys golf - start on Monday, March 2. If you are going out for one of these sports make sure you have a physical and concussion form on file with the Athletic Director before your first practice.
There will be a track and field informational meeting in the commons tomorrow at 2:45. If you plan to participate make sure you attend. If you have any questions see Ron Russell in D46B or Tom Allen in B31.
Attention, NHS Seniors.  Reminder that stole money and community service hours are both due by this Friday!
The UnBEARable players will present a free improvisation show this Saturday.  The show starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday and we hope to see you there to support the Northwest High School improv troupe.
There will be a baseball meeting in the gym at 2:45 on Thursday for all boys interested in playing baseball this spring. If you have any questions see Chris Lambert in room H4.
Did you know that:  1 in 10 people entering a hospital needs blood? Approximately 38 percent of the population is eligible to donate blood, but of those eligible, only a small fraction have actually given blood.  NHS is sponsoring a blood drive March 6th from 8:00am to 1:00pm.  You can sign up during both lunches all week in front of pupil services.  Stop at the table to sign up or ask any questions
Attention Softball Players: There will be no conditioning today.
Attention Girls’ Soccer Players: practice begins on Monday.  Please pick up your practice schedule in Coach Commons room D22.
Due to construction the Tyler street main entrance into the building will be closed throughout the remainder of the school year beginning THIS Friday the 27th. The new entrance from Tyler will be the southwest entrance into the new wing in the foreign language department. This door is labeled door number 2.
