Today for lunch we will be having chicken nuggets and salad. Please have your ID ready and know what you would like. Students without an ID will need to wait until the last 10 minutes.
Football players today is the last day for check in.
Tonight is the 8th annual Battle of the Squads at Heights High School. Make sure to come out and support our Northwest cheerleaders. The doors open at 6pm and the show begins at 7. Tickets are $3 for students with an ID and $5 for adults. See you tomorrow night!
Have you thought about a career in the field of dentistry or dental hygiene? Lunch and Learn will take place Nov. 18 in the CCC during 1st lunch. We will have a dentist and a dental hygienist here to discuss what they really do and what it took to get there. Grab your lunch and come find out. If you don’t have first lunch and are interested in learning more, see Mrs. Cramer in the CCC or Ms. Terriere for a pass.

Attention juniors and seniors. The Grow Your Own Lawyer Program is a program for high school juniors and seniors who have an interest in pursuing a career in the legal profession. Each student is matched with a lawyer-mentor with whom the student will meet several times during the spring semester. Monthly events are also held for the students, which include tours of the Sedgwick County judicial system, a field trip to KU and Washburn Law Schools. Applications are due by noon, Wednesday November 26th so if you are interested in this program, please see Mr. Cathey as soon as possible.
Physical and concussion forms must be on file to try out for spring sports.
Calling all seniors! The annual staff vs senior volleyball game is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25th. The first 10 senior males and 10 senior females to sign-up at the CCC will be eligible to play. You must be passing all classes to participate in the game. Sign-up now for your chance to play!
Have you ever wanted to throw a pie in a teacher’s face? Bring your money to bid in the auction at the assembly tomorrow during 9th period. Admission is $1 or 3 canned goods. All money and food will be donated to next week’s turkey drive.
