For lunch today your choices are Cheeseburger or Fish Nuggets. Please have our ID and selection ready. Any students without an ID will need to wait until the last 10 minutes.
Attention students: this is the last day for warnings for missing parking decals. Starting next week if your decal has still not been purchased you will be ticketed. Please see Officer Bennett or Officer Martin during Advocacy if you need to purchase your decal.
Today is the last day to order you class shirts during both lunches for $15! This is a COTY competition, so look for the table in front of pupil services and show your spirit!
The first NW Choir-sponsored CoffeeHouse of the school is this tonight at 7:00 p.m.  Bring your best friend and enjoy sweet treats, cold beverages and hot music by Grizzly performers.  The Visual Arts students will be displaying some great work – see you Friday night in the Commons.
A Volleyball carwash will be held tomorrow Saturday the 29th at central and Tyler between Wendy’s and Starbucks. Come out and support your lady grizzlies from 10-4 the cost is only $7
The CCC will be hosting an ACT Prep Workshop on Monday during Advocacy. Stop by the CCC in A-24 to sign-up. Prepare to test so you can do your best!
Northwest soccer will play their first game today.  Northwest will host Emporia HS.  JV kicks off at 4:30 followed by the Varsity at 6:30. Your attendance is greatly appreciated! 
If you want to join a club that focuses on respecting and supporting the gay, lesbian, and transgender community, you should join Gay Straight Alliance.  The first Gay Straight Alliance meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 3:20 in B37, Ms. McDonald’s classroom.  If you have questions, please stop by and talk to Ms. McDonald. 
Attention all students:
Thank you for following the Electronic Device Policy.  All electronic devices, including cell phones, ear buds and PED’s are prohibited during the school day, including passing periods.  All electronic devices must be powered off and out of sight, including ear buds.  You may use them during your lunch only in the commons.   If your teacher allows you to use electronic devices in the classroom, then you must make sure to keep your cell phone or electronic device powered off and out of sight before leaving the classroom.  Students must give their electronic device to a staff member when requested.  You may pick up your electronic device from the Security Officer after school from 3:20 to 3:30.  Students must have their ID to pick up the item.
