Film Studies 1: This course offers a comprehensive study of the visual, audio, and technical aspects of film media. The primary objective is to develop background knowledge of film history/theory and training in analysis of different film techniques and genres.
Competitive Debate: Students learn about structuring and delivering arguments. It’s great for students considering becoming a lawyer. Students can earn medals, letters, and honors cords. Students are required to compete outside of class.
Competitive Speech and Acting: Students learn the fundamentals of speaking for different purposes(persuasive, informative, and for entertainment). Students get to pick the topics/styles of their speeches for competitions. It’s great for students that are outgoing, interested in broadcast journalism, acting, or sales. Students can earn medals, letters, and honor cords. Students are required to compete outside of class.
