Being a member of Grizzly Pride is the best way to provide support and to propel Northwest High School students to have the most awesome school year possible. Grizzly Pride funds directly affect your student’s school experience at Northwest.
What is Grizzly Pride? Northwest High School combined their booster club and PTA to form Grizzly Pride. A fun group of parents, NW staff, coaches, administrators and community partners work together to promote academic and athletic programs.
Grizzly Pride raises around $40,000 each year. All money raised goes to support Northwest and Northwest students.
Who does Grizzly Pride support with this important funding?
- Your Student!
- ALL NW ATHLETIC TEAMS – assistance with meals, uniforms, equipment, etc.
- ALL SCHOLASTIC CLUBS AND STUDENT RELATED ACTIVITIES – Art, AVID, Band, Bear Buddies, Choir, DECA, Drama, FEA, For the Culture, JROTC, Project Graduation, School Spirit giveaways. The list goes on and on.
- NW Teachers and Staff
- School Infrastructure – classroom furniture, equipment, etc.
MEMBERSHIP LEVELS
$25 - Blue - Your name(s) on a banner displayed at home games and in the sports programs
$50 - Gold - Your name(s) on a banner, sports programs, and one Grizzly Pride t-shirt
$100 - Grizzly - Your name(s) on a banner, sports programs, and two Grizzly Pride t-shirts
How do I improve my child’s school experience at Northwest High School?
• You are invited and encouraged to become a Grizzly Pride member
• NW parents are the driving force behind this organization and are essential to the
success of Grizzly Pride. Please consider volunteering your time even if you
cannot contribute financially.
• Please join us at our monthly meetings held on the 2nd Monday of each month at
6:30pm in the NW Library.
• Your participation in Grizzly Pride is an excellent way to meet other parents, be
“in the know” about what’s happening at Northwest, get involved, and work to
promote the success of our students!

Mission Statement: The Parents, Teachers, and Friends of Northwest High School are organized through Partnership Activities to promote Academic, Athletic, and School Programs that support the Grizzly Core Values of Pride, Excellence, and Respect.
Bear Wear
Bear Wear is a part of Grizzly Pride that sells Northwest High School clothing. Bear Wear will have NW clothing and accessories for sale at different school events though out the school year. More details about what is available can be found on Facebook at the @nwgrizzlypride page.
